Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Network Team to support global sites through auditing, testing, and implementing network technologies including ultra-low latency network
- Conduct routine audits, support, and upgrades on hardware and software
- Manage and monitor cutting edge production critical networking equipment including Cisco switches, Layer 1 Switches, Next-Generation Firewalls, and VPN concentrators
- Improve our support tools and processes to enhance our monitoring and automation efforts
- Provide day-to-day support and management of networks that support our global trading platforms
- Onboard new clients and troubleshoot internal and external issues
- Employ knowledge of related technologies to manage and support high-speed and secured networks
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' professional networking experience
- Active Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
- Excellent knowledge of data networking principles and technologies
- Ability to be a flexible and adaptable team player with an advanced sense of ownership and accountability
- Solid understanding of network management, network security, SNMP, and Radius
- Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot complex issues related to hardware, L3/L2 deployment, application behaviors and TCP stack
- Some Linux knowledge and experience including networking
- Programming experience in network automation, provisioning, and performance management is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours to support global operations
Technical Requirements:
- Good understanding and experience with Multicast
- Experience with Arista Platform including PTP and TappAgg
- Extensive knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technologies like MLAG, FHRP, OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP, etc.
- Previous experience with ASA firewall including configuration and troubleshooting S2S and AnyConnect VPNs
