We’re looking for a Office Experience & Facilities Manager to join our growing family. As a Office Experience & Facilities Manager you will bring our office space to life through design thinking, creative problem solving, and scalable operational best practices and processes.
AS AN OFFICE EXPERIENCE & FACILITIES MANAGER YOU WILL:
  • Design, maintain, continuously improve, and scale an inspiring office environment for both our NY and SF offices
  • Establish, lead, and maintain office management and facilities best practices, policies and processes that streamline everything, while also reinforcing our values
  • Systemize and oversee all general office management, operations, facilities, and quality control including: ensuring the proper stocking supplies, repairs, managing cleaning staff, ensuring kitchen, conferences, storage, and common areas are stocked with supplies, functional & neat, and troubleshooting general office maintenance issues
  • Serve as first point of contact for all deliveries and guests
  • Report to our Senior Director of People while working collaboratively, building consensus, and consulting our executive team on office aesthetics, facilities management, and ‘big projects’ that will foster highly productive and inspired teams
  • Ensure video conferencing system and other office technology is performing up to standards that satisfy the Button team
  • Proactively problem solve and tackle office improvements - be ‘Mr. or Ms. Fix It’ for minor office repairs or additions
  • Architect and scale an admirable vendor and supply management process including purchasing, invoicing, quoting, and allocation of supplies
  • Track inventory, supplies, expenses, budgets, and create a startup-like, responsible purchasing strategy
  • Act as the point person and liaison for employees for all office-related communications and solutions
  • Manage office furniture ordering and inventory - desks, chairs, whiteboards, conference room equipment, etc.
  • Source and purchase healthy, local snacks & daily catering - sourcing and coordinating vendors, establishing contracts, set up, clean up, and invoicing payments
  • Act as the point person for facilities including all building staff, repair, and maintenance

  • Leadership and insight around what it takes to manage and scale a unique and inspiring office environment

  • Familiarity with financial and facilities management best practices & principles
  • A flexible and adaptable nature with the ability to work well under pressure and within ambiguity
  • Admirable negotiation skills
  • A critical and creative eye for the details while also being able to see the big picture - you spot problems before they arise
  • Excellent multi-tasking and consensus building skills
  • Admirable time management, project management, and organization skills
  • A process, solutions & growth-oriented mindset - you love feedback & you’re always seeking out the best way to solve a problem, optimize, and automate for the future
  • Proficiency in Google Docs & Spreadsheets, GANTT Charts, and other project management software
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Handy-work - electrical, plumbing, construction a plus

  • Stephanie Mardell, Senior Director of People: Stephanie is responsible for all things recruiting, performance management, compensation, and people happiness programs.   • Missy Goldberg, Events & Culture Manager: Missy works on experiences of all kinds for Button, from internal and external events to the overall Button office experience. She is a born and raised New Yorker and she will gladly tell you her favorite restaurant or the best places in NYC to get a good discount.
  • Stephen Milbank, Co-Founder and Head of Finance: Stephen is the Co-Founder and finance guy at Button. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo where he invested in real estate-related companies and securities. He hails from the country of Texas, previously sang backup for Shania Twain, is a decorated competitive eater and chef, and has an appreciation for the oxford comma.
  • Michael Jaconi, Co-Founder and CEO: Mike Jaconi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Button. Previously, he was the CEO of Rakuten Loyalty. He helped lead Rakuten’s investments in the U.S with a focus on mobile, commerce and technology. He also loves smoothies and fishing in Sag Harbor.
