The Role

A large part of this delight can be attributed to our ability to keep things running smoothly and easily, for both our vendors and customers. Our Operations Coordinators ensure this happens. From onboarding new vendors, to finding great new experiences and helping with local marketing, the coordinator will be deeply immersed in the inner workings of a fast growing startup.

You will be working with the Business Development team & General Manager directly.

 

What you’ll do
  • Partner with General Manager to support the daily operations of the region, ensuring a smooth experience on both sides of the marketplace
  • Work closely with business development on growth efforts, including pitching in on sales plans, sourcing of new partners, and marketing campaigns
  • Manage the onboarding and training of our vendor partners. Maintain diligent oversight on inventory availability, accuracy, and relevance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues. Handle escalated customer calls for your region
  • Demonstrate strong leadership through robust execution of special projects and initiatives.
  • Be responsible for regular reporting to maintain a close watch on the health of the marketplace. Find and fix trouble areas before they become a problem
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing preferred, but not required
  • Operational/analytical experience gained in consulting, investment banking, marketing or operations management at a startup.
  • Customer support experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Very high *get shit done* quotient
  • Combination of analytical skills with interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to find creative solutions to seemingly complex problems
  • Team player who is able to effectively partner with all areas of the company, from engineering to marketing to sales
