Signpost is looking for a part-time Finance and Accounting Associate to join the team.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the finance and accounting team with financial analysis and reporting
- Track and analyze variances between budget and actual performance
Gather and analyze data to provide information for special projects or reports
- Help with the monthly close and bank statement reconciliations
- Accounts payable - Invoice processing and coding to correct accounts
- Perform other duties as required
- Account reconciliations, maintaining accruals and prepaid schedules
Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Prior years work in an accounting/finance department
- Willingness to pitch in and work as a team player
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic
Skills:
Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast paced environment
Meticulous attention to detais
Advanced excel knowledge - Vlookup, sumif, pivot tables
Quickbooks experience
- Paycom experience not required, but a plus
