Job DescriptionThe Partnerships and Business Development Director will work on our broader business development team (encompassing sales, marketing, and partnerships) to help us develop and maintain strategic partnerships with channel partners, resellers, consulting firms, and financial institutions to grow our business through these channels. You will work in close collaboration with both the sales team on channel sales opportunities as well as the product and operations teams on relationships with large financial institutions that share data with Quovo.

Help us explore the strategic opportunities and partnerships of companies who can benefit from a partnership with Quovo. Example partners include: large banks and insurance companies, wealth management technology platforms, large accounting/consulting firms (E&Y, PWC, etc.), and other members of the finance and fintech ecosystem.

Hundreds of financial institutions, advisors, and fintech companies utilize Quovo technology as the foundation for their service offerings, aggregating and integrating millions of daily transactions. Responsibilities:Making outbound contact with prospective Quovo strategic partners to establish and drive pipeline growth in our financial services and technology segments.
Become a thought leader and advocate for our technology in the industry, attend conferences, events, etc.
Developing a plan for approaching and concluding deals with strategic partners including re-sellers, consulting firms, fintech, and other companies.
Engage with the product team to develop the Quovo product roadmap and take advantage of strategic partnership opportunities.
Build and manage relationships with financial services firms who provide data to Quovo on behalf of their end customers.
Support marketing and channel sales efforts by assisting in demand generation campaigns.

Skills and experience:

>3 years of product, strategic partnership, or sales experience in the financial services/fintech space
Specific interest in and knowledge of the wealth management, insurance, and/or lending verticals.
Ability to develop strong and loyal relationships with strategic partners.
Experience with managing/selling financial services technical products and "solution sales" a major plus.
A strategic mindset - you think about problems systematically and as long-term considerations versus “quick fixes” and isolated cases.
Stellar communication skills (both verbal and written).
A hunting mindset coupled with a winning personality - we don't want an over-the-top shark, but we do want someone who hustles.
Organized, disciplined work style with an attention to detail - deep knowledge of our customer types, as well as what is required to move them forward/close them.
Local to NYC area; some travel may be required, but it is unlikely to be more than a few times a year.

Base salary compensation: $100,000-$130,000, plus commission, with equity also possible.
