We're growing our media team and need a Performance Marketing Associate with proven success managing lower-funnel digital campaigns for e-commerce brands. You'll execute paid media strategies for SEM, shopping, and retargeting to capture intent and guide new customers and existing customers to purchase.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Media Strategy to support the scale and profitability of our exciting e-commerce brand that’s changing the way the country shops bulk. The ideal candidate will be obsessed with metrics and sifting through to find those little nuggets of data that turn into big deals for efficiency. This candidate will launch new campaigns, keep target segments and creative fresh, and incorporate non-conventional thinking to stand out from the competition. You are curious and inquisitive, and will assist with ideas for new ways to use these channels to drive the business.

You will:
  • Own execution and management of performance marketing campaigns including SEM, shopping and retargeting
  • Uses data to show how performance marketing fits into a broader marketing mix, i.e. how search, display, affiliate and social can work together to drive business goals
  • Determine scalability and monitor for diminishing returns
  • Manage vendors and optimize media against priority business objectives (acquisition, retention, customer quality)
  • Use attribution models to analyze multi-channel performance throughout the funnel
  • Collaborate with web and mobile teams to optimize the customer experience resulting from paid outreach
  • Collaborate with creative and project managers to use media to address initiatives like new product launches, co-branded marketing opportunities, and seasonal pushes
  • Concept and implement A/B tests on creative, ad copy and targeting
  • Budget effectively across your channels
  • Track marketing KPIs, analyze results and share with internal teams
  • Challenge habits and routines in our strategy to elevate common media tactics to new applications
  • Consider customer segmentation research to ideate new tactics, targets and tests
  • Teach and share knowledge with other departments
Requirements:
  • 2+ years running paid media using digital performance marketing tactics including SEM, shopping and retargeting (e-commerce experience preferred)
  • Has managed vendors and used self-serve tools like Adwords, Bing, Power Editor, Criteo, DSPs, etc.
  • Well-versed in multi-channel attribution and tracking capabilities including pixels, SDKs, UTMs and CRM tagging
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing KPIs and complex marketing funnels
  • Effectively and independently manages budgets and can track and report on performance
  • Advanced Excel skills
