  • This is not an entry level position. We are looking for 6-8 years experience. You have to have traditional newsroom experience and experience working in breaking news environments. This is non-negotiable.
  • You keep a calm head when news breaks.
  • Knowledge of Associated Press style
  • Proven ability to write in theSkimm’s voice
  • Passion about the company and its vision
  • Works well with a team, is a self-starter AND a team player
  • Bachelor's Degree
