PR & Brand Partnership Senior Manager

 

The PR & Brand Partnership Senior Manager will be a key member of the Marketing team helping LearnVest proactively tell its story through media, influencer engagement and brand partnerships. The qualified candidate will strategically drive awareness and enhance the engagement of the LearnVest brand.

 

Additional responsibilities of this role will include:

 

  • Write and/or edit talking points and media inquiries as requested by the Director of PR & Brand Partnerships
  • Research and secure thought-leadership opportunities for C-suite executive team including speaking engagements, event appearances and social amplification (Facebook Live, Instagram takeovers, etc.)
    • Manage internal relationships with key senior leadership and support media preparation, training and coaching
  • Proactively identify stories and evaluate content for continuous communications improvement
  • Collaborate with internal business partners (Content, Social, CRM and Digital Acquisition) to enhance LearnVest’s overall communication strategy
  • Responsible for ensuring measurement and reporting processes are in place to assess and provide results on a regular basis
  • Partner with Director of PR & Brand Partnerships to develop, implement and roll-out a sound 2017 brand partnership strategy from ideation to approvals in line with timely brand campaigns
  • Seek out and execute cross-marketing email partnerships with like-minded brands to bolster database and build social community
  • Ensure that all elements of the partnerships are developed and designed to expand and enhance the brand by reinforcing the core positioning of the organization as well as drive awareness and engagement with the relevant target audience.
  • Collaborate internally with Social, Content, Acquisition and CRM teams to ensure opportunities will achieve goals and meet objectives
  • Leverage relevant industry, competitive and brand intelligence to enhance brand positioning in the marketplace and keep abreast of market trends
  • Research, measure and negotiate brand partnership agreements

 

Position requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of media relations expertise, including management of campaigns and media relationships, preferably in personal finance/technology or PR agency with name brand clients
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent people skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivator with history of working successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deliver under pressure while managing multiple tasks
  • Be resourceful, creative and have an eye for detail
  • Have an ability to do more with less, deal with grey areas and be a thought leader within the organization and the broader industry.
  • Have an energy and enthusiasm that motivates and elevates the entire team
  • Showcase a clear understanding of and affinity for brand
