Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:
- Perform keyword research and expansion of keyword opportunities from high “search volume keywords” to “long tail” opportunities. Micro-level understanding of search volume for particular keywords in the food space is preferred.
- Conduct competitive analysis, content optimization efforts, meta-tag creation, H1 and H2 tag optimization, link development and other SEO related activities.
- Find opportunity for page improvement, and identify low hanging pages that will receive a lot of traffic by focusing on content updates and internal links.
- Keep up to date on the latest SEO best practices, strategies and technologies. You know the difference between angularJS and Angular 2.0.
- Off page SEO optimization: Previous experience in proven link building tactics and content outreach program preferred.
- In Depth understanding of crawl budget, crawl errors and crawl health.
- Experience with Google’s Keyword Tool or other similar keyword research tools.
- Experience with industry standard seo tools sets such as screaming frog & semrush
- Clear understanding Understanding of Accelerated Mobile Pages and their benefits for publisher and other content website.
- Bonus: If you know how to earn “featured snippet” placement for long tail searches
- Experience 3-4 years in SEO, specifically worked on e-commerce or any content based publication website
- Experience running SEO based a/b testing is preferred
Qualifications:
- You love what we do at Grubhub Seamless
- 3+ years of relevant SEO experience with 1+ years of that experience in e-commerce or an agency is preferred
- A born communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- History of teamwork and proven ability to get the job done
- Analytical; ability to “dive deep” and use data to prioritize a roadmap as well as validate completed projects
- A self-starter with a strong bias for action
- A team player and fun to work with too
