Buzzfeed is seeking a Product Marketing Associate to help bring next generation brand advertising products to market. The Product Marketing team is responsible for developing the narrative for our advertising products and executing against global launch plans to bring new products to market.

We are looking for a highly-motivated Marketing Associate to support the Product Marketing team in developing and managing marketing collateral, including product overviews, case studies, keynote decks, fact sheets, playbooks, customer stories, newsletters, videos, and more. This role will focus on helping educate and grow awareness for new and existing advertising products. Client-facing teams are key to telling BuzzFeed’s story and driving adoption of our latest innovations and it is critical that they are armed with all the latest solutions, materials and strategies. The ideal candidate for the role is an independent self-starter with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. This role will require the ability to collaborate with Product Marketers, Sales, and Ad Solutions teams among others.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build meaningful and easy-to-understand stories out of complex information.
  • Partner with other teams to lead world-class product communications for new brand products .
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that sales support materials and packages are created.
  • Create new marketing collateral, including product overviews, case studies, keynote decks, fact sheets, playbooks, customer stories, newsletters, videos, and more.
  • Develop and execute strategies to streamline internal communications and information flow to internal stakeholders.
  • Support Product Marketing team on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in B2B Marketing.
  • Relevant experience includes sales or agency account management, strategic planning, or product marketing roles.
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study.
  • Strong project management skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience in the production of campaigns, printed collateral presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials. Go-to-market materials or sales enablement collateral or copy is a plus.
  • Powerpoint/Keynote and Google Sheets wizard is mandatory.
  • Photoshop/Illustrator/Visual Design skills preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in response to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
