Product Marketing Manager

Job Description:
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be a key outward facing person responsible for understanding the business intelligence market, defining the Sisense value proposition and messaging, identifying target customers, and positioning Sisense to compete successfully in the market. The individual will collaborate closely with sales, marketing and product management on product marketing activities. The PMM will be the voice of Sisense customers and will know what our customers want, need and how they use our products.
What Will You Do?
- Manage lifecycle product marketing from pre-release product activities to post launch engagement
- Create product demonstrations, content and value-based selling tools, e.g., ROI, solution sheets, use cases, white papers, presentations and competitive briefs.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Sisense products in the market
- Enable sales by communicating the product value proposition and develop sales tools that support the selling process of Sisense products
- Work with Product Management and Marketing on solution concepts, nomenclature, packaging, positioning, release strategies and sales training
- Be the expert on market buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria
- Continually assess competitive landscape and conduct market analysis
- Develop deep understanding of the messaging space and trends within BI ecosystem
- Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Influence Product Management requirements based on market research, market trends, competitive research and analysis
What Should You Have?
- 4+ years’ experience as a B2B software Product Marketing Manager or associated role
- Highly analytical, results oriented, team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven history in marketing products from pre-release activities to post-launch engagement
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to influence sales on market positioning, product positioning and product messaging
- Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits
- Experience in business intelligence preferred but not required
- Highest ethical standards consistent with the policies and values of the company
