Bonobos is looking for an organized, independent and detail oriented Project Coordinator to join the Store Design and Construction team. As our Project Coordinator you’d join a small and dynamic team leading the rapid expansion of our brick and mortar locations.

Reporting to our Construction Manager, the Project Coordinator will work closely with and support the Store Design and Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and managing the supporting functions of the new store buildout process from project inception to store opening through project close out.

What you'll do...

  • Procure the owner-supplied materials and items for new store projects
  • Track and forecast inventory of pre-purchased display fixtures and materials
  • Ensure materials arrive on the requested delivery date and resolve any issues with missing or damaged items
  • Review vendor invoices and ensure they are accurate and ready for approval
  • Resolve any invoice discrepancies with vendors and send invoices to A/P for payment
  • Use strong detail orientation skills to record approved vendor invoices in project budget
  • Update project budgets and report budget status to the team on a weekly basis
  • Set up utility accounts for all new Guideshop locations
  • Prepare, collect and submit all necessary project close out documentation to landlords for collection of construction allowances
  • Communicate status of construction allowance collection to internal cross functional partners on a weekly basis
  • Support the Store Design and Construction team with ad hoc projects
  • Update the Store Opening Construction Schedule and communicate the schedule weekly to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage our relationship with the storefront sign vendors on status, sign approval, permitting, manufacturing and installation. Run point on this process and report status back to internal design and construction partners

You...

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Planning or equivalent concentration
  • Understand or are interested in the construction and procurement process, with a focus on budgeting, scheduling and cost management (any relevant work experience with be favorably considered!)
  • Are a clear and effective communicator (verbal & written) with internal and external partners
  • Are highly organized, detail driven and conscientious
  • Are analytical in your approach
  • Are generally proficient with the Google Suite software as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Are detailed in your work, while maintaining the ability to see the overall picture
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve team initiatives
  • Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems
  • Have the willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary
