The Role:

As Vice President of Service Delivery for Link, you support the GM in developing, deploying and optimizing the Link services including free, ultra-fast public Wi-Fi, dynamic hyper-local advertising and messaging, phone calling, and internet based tablet applications for deployments in New York City, the U.K. and other cities as we expand. You will be responsible for developing service delivery strategies to optimize Link’s kiosk network for Wi-Fi service, form factor, and deployment pace and location. You will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers, product developers, analysts and project managers to ensure the ongoing performance of Link.

The Vice President of Service Delivery for Link is a key role and is integral to the success of Intersection’s marquee product. In this role, you will report directly to the General Manager of Link and be responsible for managing over $200M of deployed capital.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead cross-functional team of network engineers, GIS analysts, financial analysts, hardware manufacturers and franchise managers to develop alternative WI-Fi service designs to speed deployment, gain efficiencies and expand service
  • Manage key vendor relationships and ensure performance standards are met
  • Manage key partner relationships and ensure satisfaction and fulfilment of our contractual obligations and commitments
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop technology strategies, advance new business opportunities, prioritize initiatives and manage expectations
  • Act in a stakeholder capacity with internal product, sales and marketing teams to identify and implement innovative solutions to address project challenges and emerging needs.
  • Support GM in overseeing the ongoing performance and support of the Link system
  • Identify key vendors and partners necessary to scale efficiently and mitigate risks
  • Manage project budget

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive, senior-level experience managing major projects
  • Strong technology and/or advertising-supported media background preferred
  • Proven experience executing large urban projects, preferably including aspects of telecom or real estate
  • Extensive capital planning and budget management
  • Experience with utility construction projects, municipal permitting agencies and processes and New York CIty government is preferred
  • Ability to oversee a portfolio of multiple projects, and develop and lead a team of key stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Extremely strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
