When was the last time you were planning a business trip and really tried to save your company money? If your company allowed you to stay in a fancy hotel, would you ever volunteer to stay at an Airbnb or at a friend's house? How about flying coach instead of business class? The vast majority of employees optimize for comfort and convenience, spending at the high end of their company policy limits, because, well, why not? So how can a company get its employees to care about expenses without implementing draconian policies, creating friction and frustrating employees? How can a company motivate its employees to save?

The Role:

Rocketrip is looking for an experienced Recruiter to help us strategically grow our team. You should have a strong understanding of technology, complex tech stacks, and have experience filling senior level engineering roles in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to build rapport and trust with hiring managers and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. This role reports into our Head of People.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a full cycle recruiting process across all departments, with an initial focus on our Engineering and Product organizations.
  • Source and engage with both active and passive candidates, leveraging your own network and building Rocketrip’s pipeline
  • Work internally with hiring managers to understand and prioritize positions and team needs
  • Create job descriptions based on the position and company requirements
  • Provide an outstanding candidate experience for every prospective hire
  • Negotiate complex offers
  • Provide weekly status updates for internal stakeholders

You Should Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, at least one year in technical recruiting, in-house and/or agency. Tech startup experience is a huge plus!
  • Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse or other similar applicant tracking system
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and management teams on hiring initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of complex technical stacks, engineering infrastructure, and general engineering recruitment best practices
  • Incredible organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a high sense of accountability
