About the role:

Managed by Q is currently looking for a dynamic, proactive Lead Recruiter to build a team of 5-star Client Operators for our New York City office. As this department’s main Recruiter, you’ll be responsible for managing the high volume, full life-cycle recruitment process for all of Q New York’s Client Operators. You’ll oversee the entire process, from sourcing to hire. You’ll be responsible for hitting ambitious weekly targets and ultimately building and maintaining a recruitment system that scales with the growing demands of our NYC team.

About you:

  • You’ve staffed large teams, and know how to manage the systems to meet your goals.
  • You’ve managed all parts of the recruitment process, and you feel comfortable driving application volume, hosting compelling group sessions, and maintaining high matriculation rates.
  • You have a strong network – both online and offline – and maintain a large volume of relationships with relevant groups and community partners.
  • You live and breathe recruiting metrics and have a formed perspective on the right KPIs and SLAs for recruitment success.
  • You are a self-starter and have an entrepreneurial spirit. You are quick to jump in and make improvements wherever you see opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for all Cleaning Operators and Maintenance Operators in Q NYC (sourcing, screening, and interviewing)
  • Work closely with our NYC hiring managers in order to anticipate and meet staffing needs for cleaning and maintenance operations
  • Schedule and lead weekly group interview sessions
  • Create and initiate recruitment strategies to ensure current and future staffing needs are met
  • Collaborate with team leads to continuously improve our interview and hiring practices, ensuring best in class recruitment
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruitment outreach events
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to drive interest in Operator position(s)
  • Serve as a point of contact for all Operators-in-Training in-person, over the phone, and over email

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years experience in recruitment, sales, account management, or related relationship-building function strongly preferred
  • Strong communicator with adept verbal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Past experience sourcing prospects using online tools LinkedIn, Angel List, Crunchbase, etc.
  • Past experience conducting interviews and making selection decisions preferred
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate management systems (CMS) preferred
