As a Sales Coordinator at Intersection, you will join our growing sales team in New York. In the New York metro area, Intersection has Out Of Home assets across NYC and Westchester. Our portfolio in New York City includes the highly acclaimed LinkNYC platform, comprised of thousands of high profile digital displays growing rapidly across the City and attracting some of the most highly sought after brands. Other media includes a ubiquitous footprint of static kiosk displays, the sponsorship of street banners in high demand and urban neighborhoods of NYC, and spectacular media at Penn Station. The Westchester media is at the county’s airport, where we can connect brands with affluent and executive travelers going to and from this region. Delivering hundreds of millions of impressions weekly, it’s a robust media market with award winning assets and tremendous opportunity!

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and varied role that is perfect for someone looking to cut their teeth and then build a career in the media/advertising world. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to perform administrative responsibilities and thrive in a team environment.

What you will accomplish:

Within your first 90 days, you will build strong relationships with your manager and the Account Executives that you support. You’ll develop a reputation for being a solid resource and will develop the foundational knowledge of our business model and the various media products and assets we have across the United States.

Your daily role will involve...

  • Communicating over email and by phone with internal resources (charting, ad ops, inventory, and account teams) and our clients to ensure a smooth and positive customer service experience
  • Supporting your Account Executives by generating and processing contracts, proposals, and presentations that enable Intersection to scale rapidly
  • Being a “go-to” person who gets stuff done accurately and on time, whether it’s printing materials, setting up meetings with our clients, or building sales decks from scratch
  • Own the full lifecycle (pre- and post-sales) of a contract from initial market research to contract creation and execution, including tracking and reporting along the way

What we are looking for:

  • A degree from an Accredited Institution
  • You can multi-task a number of different items (think deliverables for assignments with a heavy course load)
  • You enjoy collaborating with people to get work done, but know when to take ownership of a task
  • You demonstrate a high level of accountability for both your work and the work of your team
  • You have very good attention to detail and can spot and fix errors
  • You work fast but thoughtfully, and make suggestions for efficiencies along the way
  • You have some work experience -- it could be an internship, a summer job, or on-campus employment (media/advertising and/or customer service experience is a huge plus!)
  • Knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite and do not mind busy work utilizing these tools for RFPs
