JOOR is hiring Retail Success Managers to introduce buyers at the world’s best retailers and department stores to our iPad Retailer Application, a tool that allows buyers to digitally view vendor linesheets, enter orders, and analyze assortments. You will be working directly with buyers to understand their in-market and order-writing workflows, consult on how JOOR can improve these processes, and develop creative strategies to drive buyer adoption and standardize best practices across entire businesses.

The ideal candidate has a background in buying, is tech-savvy, customer centric and familiar with projecting and achieving financial goals. Must be a self-starter that takes initiative and can meet strict deadlines, in addition to taking ownership of small tasks and big projects with the same positive attitude. High Level Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with your group of buyers, analyzing their levels of usage and engagement. Understand any barriers to adoption
  • Consult buyers on JOOR’s features and functionalities and how it can complement their workflow
  • Find and develop new business opportunities with top retailers that match the caliber of JOOR’s curated global marketplace
  • As part of the new RSM team, help to create and standardize internal processes for onboarding buyers, organizing information, and analyzing data
  • Partner internally with Customer Success, Retail Engagement, Data and Product teams to improve JOOR and make it increasingly functional for buyers. Be the liaison between the buyers and the technology teams

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Manage and service a group of buyers, including, but not limited to training, email, phone and chat support
  • Provide demos to new business opportunities
  • Manage and develop a book of business, driving application adoption
  • Pre-Market: Prepare data inputs that buyers will access on their iPads before market appointments
  • In-Market: Attend appointments with buyers to track & record feedback, and communicate back to product team. Be available around-the-clock for buyers who may have technical issues
  • Post-Market: Run analytics for buyers and ensure start-to-finish usage
  • Brainstorm creative ways to engage buyers and use their feedback to improve the Retailer Application
  • Internal weekly volume goal reporting
  • Work with Product & QA team to prioritize road maps and app releases based on feedback from clients, and test new releases
  • Help implement internal processes and best practices
  • Miscellaneous cross-functional administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Self-starters propelled by restless curiosity and initiative. Must be scrappy and willing to get your hands dirty to achieve goals
  • Willing to work through ambiguity in order to find a critical path and get to the finish line
  • Proactive, resourceful and creative in problem solving
  • Ability to embrace technology and formulate your own feedback
  • Effective and assertive communicators
  • 2+ years experience in buying (Major Department Store experience a plus) or account management (B2B or Tech Experience a Plus) 
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Keynote a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must be able to travel as required
