Role: Director, Sales

Practice Summary – As a Sales Director at Brand Networks, you will play a key role in accelerating revenue growth by developing new business at agency partners and brands directly. Through a consultative, solutions-orientated sales approach, you will develop keen insight into your client’s businesses, and help them meet their marketing objectives by leveraging Brand Networks products and services.

Success In This Role Means:


  1. Successfully influences target customers and agencies to choose Brand Networks as their preferred social advertising partner
  2. Consistently grows revenue quarter over quarter
  3. Meet or exceeds quarterly revenue targets

Responsibilities:


  1. Serve as Brand Networks new business lead on a target list of Agency and brand direct accounts in order to drive client success by leveraging Brand Networks portfolio of products and services
  2. Define and lead Brand Networks strategy and develop the overall customer proposition for your accounts
  3. Develop and execute strategy to ensure growth and achievement of revenue objectives
  4. Align with key channel partners to leverage customer success stories to win new customers and drive revenue
  5. Drive strategic marketing conversations with marketers and agencies to define objectives and provide recommendations
  6. Develop constant pipeline of new business opportunities
  7. Create customized, solutions-oriented presentations and product demonstrations that align Brand Networks value proposition with customer specific marketing objectives
  8. Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  9. Collaborate with cross functional peers (vertical, platform enablement, professional services, customer success, media, etc.) to grow revenue across product and service portfolio
  10. Identify industry best practices and scale them across all customers

Qualifications:


  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in ad tech or media agency with proven track record of growing revenue in sales/commission-based roles through the development of strategic relationships
  2. Consultative sales experience with the ability to strategically position BN in the greater context of a Brand’s larger marketing and advertising technology investment.
  3. Deep ad tech marketing knowledge and proficiency is required.
  4. Experience selling into large agency holding companies and activating individual account teams.
  5. Deep Social industry knowledge and proficiency is preferred
  6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value (explaining complex concepts into everyday terms)
  7. Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  8. Personal network in place with senior media client & agency contacts. Relationships with top marketing decision makers at F500 companies and agencies
  9. Strong experience and know-how on traditional media as well as digital media as well as their short- & mid-term transformation
  10. Leadership credibility and ability to work in small teams with internal and external stakeholders
  11. Experience of working in matrix organizations
  12. Passion for Brand Networks and our mission
  13. Good sense of humor and team player
