The artnet galleries and sales departments seek a motivated and driven individual to assist in expanding artnet’s presence worldwide and maintaining the world’s largest gallery network. The role is at the core of our mission: to provide transparency, expertise, and greater accessibility to the international art market. The ideal candidate is familiar with the art market and has had at least one or two previous art world internships.

The internship is based at our headquarters in downtown Manhattan and will last at least 3 months with the possibility of up to 12 months. Artnet offers a daily stipend as well as regular extracurricular opportunities, such as museum and gallery openings, artist talks, and lectures. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and intellectually engaged individual to gain experience in a creative and dynamic office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-sale research for the sales team
• Maintain gallery database for the News team
• Research upcoming gallery and museum exhibitions
• Compile exhibitor lists for art fairs

We offer a daily stipend to cover transportation and lunch expenses, and encourage candidates to arrange to receive course credits from their college.
