SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

While they are busy developing and managing our consumer and education networks, the sales team will rely heavily on the SALES OPERATION MANAGER to determine the appropriate tools needed to make the sales process more effective and efficient.

Reporting to the VP/Sales, and working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, the right candidate will also devise sales programs, sales process strategy while evaluating and implementing improvements. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER:

  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day execution and continued improvement of Global Sales process and all sales reporting
  • Provide analytics and reporting for the sales team, including forecasting, pipeline analysis, quarter and year end reports, board slides, performance to quota, deal tracking, and more
  • Participate in the assessment of Go-to-Market Model
  • Analyze sales metrics
  • Develop, implement and continually improve processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations
  • Plan and deploy effective end-user training and ensure successful change management
  • Work with Sales Management to create and maintain territories
  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations

THE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED AS SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER:

  • 3-5 years of Sales Operations experience 
  • Netsuite experience
  • Hardware sales experience
  • Ability to understand business needs from stakeholders in order to drive functional requirements
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and personal accountability
  • Able to interact effectively with internal customers
  • Adaptable to changing requirements, changing schedules
  • Four year BS or BA degree, Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
  • Experience with Marketo preferred
