We’re looking for a motivated business development analyst to help make Intersection’s vision of a connected, responsive city a reality— to make Intersection’s products a core, sustainable part of the fabric of the connected cities of the future.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships with cities, transit agencies, and private entities that distribute and interact with Intersection’s technology and services
  • Help identify and develop pitches to win competitive RFPs to provide services to new markets
  • Develop strategies to leverage different types and form factors of current technology offerings to best suit a city’s needs
  • Develop and manage robust, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers
  • Create a deep understanding of a city’s needs, the political environment, and the deal structure that will make execution possible
  • Develop and manage deals with ad agencies, vendors, and other key partners
  • Maintain deal trackers and provide transparency to the broader organization
  • Work directly with senior executives, inclusive of drafting deal approval memos
  • Help build teams to execute deals in new markets

 

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • MBA from top tier educational institution or Undergraduate Business Degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, technology or government
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for emerging technologies, internet business models and digital media
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present to senior executives
  • Ability to identify potential deals, build relationships and bring deals to fruition.
  • The ability to work quickly and shift gears on a dime
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • A passion to help make urban living better
  • Confidence to operate in a quickly changing environment.
  • Self motivated, entrepreneurial and creative.
  • Experience with Powerpoint, Google Docs, Excel and/or Keynote
