Job Overview

Eyeview is looking for an experienced BI Developer to help create an intuitive data visualization and analytics platform on top of our world class data warehouse. This person will work directly with end users to design, develop and release to customers, ultimately driving overall campaign performance and revenue for Eyeview’s clients.

Primary initiatives including building beautiful dashboards in Looker that support daily operations for Campaign Managers, Account Managers, and Media Supply Managers, as well as Sales and Executive management.

The BI Manager will be a talented BI developer, loves data/plots/numbers/graphs/etc, and will excel at developing solutions for a variety of challenges. They will prioritize enhancements based on real-time business needs and work directly with end users and the Data Product Manager to make new data sets available and adjust existing schemas to support new workflows. Responsibilities

  • The primary role is to develop Looker dashboards and configurations
  • Set and manage expectations among stakeholders
  • Drive agreement and vision around the business intelligence and reporting systems
  • Develop creative solutions to business problems and workflows
  • Keep abreast of Looker updates, changes and new introductions through independent research, direct communication with Looker, active involvement in Looker professional associations, and participation in Looker training programs

Skills / Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience as a hands on BI Manager / Developer / Analyst delivering projects to an enterprise
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with modern self-service BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Domo
  • Experience working with customers to develop complex solutions and define clear requirements
  • BS in technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or similar field) or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills cross-functionally, enthusiastic team player with strong follow-through
  • Detail oriented, able to independently follow up on action items and commit to deadlines in an uncertain environment
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, changing environment of clients, partners, and challenges

Pluses

  • Hands on experience with Looker
  • Experience with data warehouse or large scale reporting and data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, RedShift, MySQL
  • Experience in adtech or financial trading systems
  • Experience with Data Science/Stats/Optimization/Analytics
