Are you an engineer who loves working on front-end development and pixel-perfect design? Or a product designer who loves to code to express and prototype ideas? Or both? Perfect. This role straddles both worlds, helping us rapidly design, prototype and implement features across our web experiences. Your job will be an integral part of helping the ClassPass digital experience grow and evolve, ultimately helping people all over the world live happier and healthier lifestyles.

• Contribute front-end production code (primarily HTML/CSS/Javascript) to our web properties to help convince non-members to join ClassPass, learn about fitness activities and studios in their area, and help drive them to take action.
• Work with the product, engineering, and design team to produce beautiful and clean solutions for web and mobile
• Work closely with the Head of UX and Head of Marketing Design to ensure a consistent look and feel that’s on-brand and of a high visual quality across properties
• Help conceptualize and execute the future of the ClassPass digital experience and help push the brand and the product forward
• Help instill a design culture in the company as a whole — we want everyone to value and understand the role of design
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.

• A varied portfolio of past work indicating your qualifications in the above described fields that also proves your ability to think conceptually
• 5+ years of digital design or development experience with a solid understanding of product design and engineering
• Strong communication skills — you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions, and have a great attitude working with the team.
• Fluent in front-end web technologies and trends. Comprehensive knowledge of all CSS capabilities. Some experience with SEO would be nice.
• Familiar with the AGILE working process and able to work closely with Product Managers
• Someone who is obsessively detail oriented, a self-starter, and an aficionado of iterating
