Senior Global Inventory Analyst, Pricing & Inventory
The fast-moving, high-impact Revenue Operations team at Spotify ensures we properly and effectively monetize our revolutionary music platform, and accurately analyze and report on all aspects of our revenue business.
We are looking for an ambitious professional to join our Pricing & Inventory team as a Global Inventory Analyst, Pricing & Inventory. The Pricing & Inventory team works across our Global AdSales organization to deliver world-class pricing solutions that deliver the highest yield for our inventory set. This role will report into the Global Head of Inventory and support the Ads Revenue organisation to ensure they plan, pitch and close deals that maximise long-term revenue.
You will be the subject matter expert on Spotify’s global ad inventory stack and principle forecasting system. Working across departments, you will effectively communicate any issues or anticipated changes to inventory projections or systems use. You will have purview across all regions to help identify and share best practices on inventory management. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.
What you’ll do- You will be the go-to person for all operational items relating to our forecasting system
- Verify forecasting accuracy, flagging any formats or markets that deviate from expectation or forecast
- Analyse and program seasonal trends into forecasting system
- Work with 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot forecasting or delivery issues
- Analyse, document and communicate ad product interactions, with associated yield trade-offs
- Create documentation around best practices for inventory pulls and planning
- Buildout Products and Product Templates so revenue from new and existing formats can be recorded at proper level
- Reconcile FP&A impression forecasts to actual delivery
- Partner with Sale Planners, CSMs and Account Directors to guide yield maximization efforts
- Model offline and ad hoc forecasts
- Assist with inventory approvals
- Ad-hoc requests to analyse and provide recommendations to better monetize our inventory set
- Provide counsel to the Global Heads of Pricing & Inventory

- Passion for data and the insights they unlock
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 5 years experience in Digital Ad Inventory Management, working with the leading industry forecasting tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Great communication and presentation skills, with a knack for presenting complex data in a simple and easy-to-understand manner
- Exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
