The jobAs the Senior Manager of Content Marketing, you will be Justworks’ resident end-to-end editor and oversee marketing content for Justworks, including the blog, website, social presence, SEO, sales enablement and other branded content. At its core, this is a senior role that is a hybrid strategy, managerial, and executional role. We are looking for someone who can grow and optimize our content marketing strategy, across channels utilizing different types of media. In this job you will manage a small team of content producers and consultants as they create a variety of content and media. You will be responsible for running our highly-trafficked blog, website, managing our long-form content (like case studies, whitepapers and eBooks), overseeing our SEO strategy, social media strategy and developing a content strategy to review product, sales enablement, ad, and brand content.
What you'll do- Work across company to deliver and optimize the content strategy across the company for lead generation and branding purposes.
- Develop an editorial roadmap and strategy in line with other marketing campaigns and company initiatives.
- Drive initiatives for content’s success, whether through product integration, SEO optimization, or sales enablement.
- Lead the development of content across multiple channels (blog, social media, newsletters) and multiple formats (articles, infographics, videos, and much more).
- Thoroughly vet and edit all content for accuracy, as well as voice and tone.
- Lead 2 content producers and agencies in their workflows, creative process, and growth.
- Measure and assess the success of our content strategy across all channels and regularly report and present the results.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- You have built out and managed a Content Marketing or similar team
- Run content marketing at a B2B company before
- Minimum of 8 years work experience in content marketing, production, and development
- Excellent meeting management and effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences
- You have a passion for simplifying highly complex subject matter.
- You love writing and reading.
- You enjoy and have a significant experience in telling stories through many mediums.
- You feel comfortable measuring your output and like knowing the ROI on your work.
- You like working on a team and enjoy collaborative projects.
- You’re passionate about fostering the professional growth of others.
- You are a natural leader and know how to effectively delegate projects, while keeping people motivated and passionate about their work.
- You’re comfortable with Contentful and Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
- You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and prioritizing work for yourself and others
- You’ve had experience with PR and communications.
- You have a proven record of developing and executing a successful social media strategy.
