The Role:

As a Senior Media Planner at Intersection, you will help transition Intersection’s Out of Home media planning from location based targeting to audience segmentation and dynamic digital campaigns. You should have a very strong understanding of media consumption habits and audience profiles, and can independently develop and present recommendations to senior staff and the larger Intersection Sales team. You can also easily navigate reporting and provide impactful takeaways to strengthen Intersection’s media delivery. Always an enthusiastic contributor, you will add tremendous value to the Media team in both the pre-sale and post-sale phase of a campaign.

What you will accomplish:

  • Work closely with the media sales team to understand our clients goals & objectives
  • Develop holistic responses to multi-market client RFPs including but not limited to New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, New Jersey, and Philadelphia
  • By leveraging media resources from Telmar, OPlan, Neustar, Scarborough and Nielsen, you will help to understand current client, vertical and competitive media investments
  • Coordinate with the Geopath, Nielsen and other audience measurement partners to put up-to-date audience data into the hands of our agency partners’ planning tools
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop sales collateral that effectively communicates Intersection’s audience reach and impact
  • Work with senior leadership and our executive team to utilize research resources and analytics to understand and provide competitive media landscape reports

 What we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of experience in planning at a major media agency or publisher
  • Experience in out of home and/or digital media planning
  • Fluency with industry planning and research data and tools, including Neustar, Nielsen, Telmar and Geopath
  • Deep experience in data visualization and measurement analytics
  • Skilled communicator and presenter
