YouVisit has an immediate opening for a highly skilled Sr Product Designer (UX/UI) to plan and design highly interactive web, mobile and VR applications. This full-time salaried position is a great opportunity for a stellar Sr Product Designer (UX/UI) to take on our award-winning web, mobile and VR applications to the next level. Qualified candidates will have a solid portfolio of UX/UI design work, a passion for solving tough challenges and an analytical based approach to design. The Sr Product Designer (UX/UI) will be at the core of our product development team working closely with internal groups from development to business teams.

Key attributes of a successful candidate are the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, excellent communication skills and deep knowledge of web and mobile technologies, including native Android and iOS. We are also looking for people that stay current on new design trends and up-and- coming technologies. As a very fast growing tech company in New York City we are looking for people who are not afraid to step up and take on big challenges.

Experience with VR is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver world-class user interface designs for YouVisit’s products
• Conceptualize and design future features and products to add to the YouVisit platform
• Create wireframes and functional prototypes
• Create clear and concise annotations
• Create pixel perfect designs
• Lead cross-functional design concept reviews, from initial wireframes and prototypes through final design
• Exercise judgment in determining both the strategic and tactical approaches for project specific design
• Manage multiple initiatives, under tight deadlines
• Supply graphics across many different mediums: web, mobile, iOS, Android
• Maintain asset libraries for reusable, systematic design.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure effective execution of designs and release of high quality products

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-6 years experience in product design, UX, UI, human-computer interaction, and usability
• Proven track record designing clean, simple and cutting-edge web and mobile interfaces
• Strong experience in native iOS/Android UX and UI design using the latest patterns
• A diverse portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, imagery, information architecture and attention to detail.
• Clear understanding of usability, user-centered design, and web standards
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to create and clearly annotate wireframes and functional prototypes
• Ability to create and annotate pixel perfect designs
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert proficiency with Sketch and other design tools
• Experience designing in Virtual Reality or 3D environments (ideal but not required)
