Position Overview:

Rent the Runway is looking for a highly skilled analytical and innovative Senior Product Lead to build and launch last minute rentals in local markets. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and entrepreneurial, comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and able to operate with immense bias for action. At Rent the Runway, we’re building the world’s largest reverse-logistics fulfillment center to power the ultimate closet in the cloud. While our operation is highly complex, the customer experience is completely seamless as we deliver every order on time for the most important moments in our customers’ lives.

As a Product Lead in uncharted territory, you will partner with business stakeholders to build a road map and iteration plan that will deliver business objectives and delight consumers. You will be a key player in strategic planning, but you will also personally oversee the product development from inception through launch owning and defining the product requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep customer obsession and love solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with x-functional stakeholders to build and launch the end-to-end last minute rentals product in local markets from the customer facing booking experience to the order allocation and fulfillment
• Own the product road map and product development from inception through launch
• Synthesize coherent product requirements that bring clarity, focus and prioritization to complex problems
• Break projects into attainable milestones and lead cross-functional teams through the agile execution process
• Define metrics for identifying success and failure while ensuring the team and stakeholders are clear on objectives
• Lead a tight learning loop that leverages qualitative insights from user research with quantitative results from testing and MVPs
• Cultivate a deep understanding of the user - both the Rent the Runway customer and our internal business users

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree
• 4+ years in a product role
• eCommerce or experience in on demand economy preferred
• Analytical thinker capable of breaking complex problems down to their constituent parts
• Highly organized leader & communicator with the ability to drive results by rallying and focusing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Comfortable and energized by uncharted problems
• Flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business environment and technology universe evolves and changes
• Personally committed Rent the Runway and to delivering a seamless customer experience
• Entrepreneurial in spirit with a passion for disruption
