Mark43 is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our Operations Team. Mark43 is creating software to help law enforcement and first responders work more efficiently to fight crime and keep cities safe. Our team is made up of engineers, project managers, support analysts, designers, product marketers, and sales executives spanning 4 offices in 4 different cities. The recruiting team is responsible for maintaining a strong pipeline of talent, evangelizing the company mission and culture to the public, and managing the interview process across all the teams. We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to help uncover and engage top talent, manage a busy interview schedule for a growing team, and streamline processes and best practices in sourcing and recruiting.

 What you can expect to work on

  • Building relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to fully understand the needs of their teams
  • Being a leading authority on interviewing best practices and leading new interview training sessions
  • Ownership over the hiring process for several key roles or an entire department
  • Writing and updating job descriptions and interview kits
  • Leading candidates through the interview process from application review to offer
  • Mentoring other recruiters and sharing market knowledge and best practices with your team
  • Assisting the Operations team in other endeavors and initiatives where necessary

 What we expect from you

  • 3+ years full life cycle recruiting, in-house experience highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of how modern software is built, sold, and maintained
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the competitive tech startup landscape and current hiring trends
  • A strong sense of diligence for the numerous admin tasks that accompany recruiting
  • Experience with everything Google [Google mail, calendar, docs, etc], as well as other modern recruiting software like Greenhouse, Entelo, Asana
  • Unlimited patience and a calm demeanor
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and pivot in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for helping others and a humble attitude towards assisting multiple teams simultaneously
