Internship Overview:

The Social Content Intern will provide important content and community insights to help shape Rent The Runway's growing social presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Management & Content Development
    • Support Social Media Manager on day to day social content creation, community management, and trend identification
    • Manage social media calendar, working across all channels, laddering up to overall content plan
    • Manage content published by consumer advocates and influencers for marketing initiatives
  • Campaign Outreach, Tracking & Events
    • Partnership outreach with local retail locations and consumer advocates
    • Organization, outreach, and tracking of social media influencer seedings
    • In-store Advocate event coordination
  • Social Listening & Reporting
    • Provide social media insights and trends to drive calendar support (pop culture, fashion, etc.)
    • Develop and execute weekly reporting, building in metrics to measure success and interpreting insights from data

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of community management across all social platforms
  • Strong understanding of social listening and reporting
  • Interest in fashion and pop culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to commit 20-25 hours per week
