Kickstarter is seeking a Social Media & Content Marketing intern to work with our Curation & Content team this summer. The ideal candidate is a boss (or wants to be!) on social media — you understand the ins and outs of various platforms, and can whip up a super-cool Instagram story with ease.
The Social Media & Content Marketing intern will work on copywriting for social media, helping execute social and content marketing campaigns to solicit user generated content and increase engagement, and assist in identifying and building opportunities for viral content. This intern will also take on creative research projects and learn about tracking and analyzing campaigns. The Social Media & Content Marketing intern may have the opportunity to explore content marketing/editorial projects, digital video content, and community management/interaction.
Requirements:- An avid user of at least some of the following platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr. (We’ll teach you some new things — can you teach us something new, too?)
- Strong writing skills
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or other image/GIF editing software
- Highly creative and excited about trying new things
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Good sense of visual design/aesthetics
