The Opportunity:
Shutterstock Inc. seeks a Software Engineer I in New York, NY to contribute to all aspects of thetechnical services under the team’s ownership.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent, plus one (1) year of experience designing, implementing, refactoring, testing, and deploying web based services.
Prior experience must include one (1) year of building and designing highly scalable services and RESTful API’s; programming in object-oriented languages; utilizing SOA architecture; working in distributed/high trafficked computer systems and relational and NoSQL based data stores; utilizing Node.js, React, Redux, Express, Angular, JQuery, Nightwatch, Mocha, Chai, Jenkins, New Relic, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, mysql, mongodb, html, JavaScript, CSS, bootstrap, git, responsive web design, Google Analytics, Eloqua tracking, Google Maps API, Salesforce, Java, SQL, PHP, Sublime, Adobe Dreamweaver, Agile Methodology, Windows/Linux/Mac, and Eclipse.
