We're looking for an awesome software engineer to join our growing Roomi team in NYC. This is a unique opportunity to be the first member of our API team at our HQ, while receiving mentorship from our senior remote engineers and our Head of Engineering.
Roomi's goal is to make it as easy to find an apartment as it is to find a hotel. As part of young startup, you’ll have a lot of say in the direction of our company, both from a product and architectural perspective. You'll work closely with our backend engineering team to design and extend APIs to serve our iOS, Android, and Web clients. You'll work with our DevOps team to ensure that we build highly scalable and highly available systems. You'll work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product Managers, and non-technical team members to design new features and create a world-class customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar from a top school
- Team spirit and eagerness to learn
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive

- Industry experience or internships as a software engineer (recent grads are welcome!)
- Experience with Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS
- Side projects that show your passion
- Experience working closely with software engineers in a fast paced environment
