SeatGeek is growing our Sponsorship team, and we want you to be our newest addition. We are building our brand by partnering with leagues (like MLS!) and teams, that share our vision of helping more people enjoy more live events. Our job is to work hand-in-hand with these partners to speak the language of their fans and drive SeatGeek adoption.

You understand the balance between long-term brand growth and immediate new business. You’re comfortable working with numbers but also enjoy coming up with new, out of the box ideas. Taking ownership, and shepherding projects from beginning to end, are concepts that appeal to you. But most of all, you like working amongst various teams both internal and external to coordinate success.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Executing league and team sponsorship deals, including MLS, Sporting KC, and more, gradually taking ownership of specific partnership aspects
  • Identifying and helping evaluate growth opportunities for the sponsorships team
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies for our SeatGeek Open clients across traditional, digital and CRM channels
  • Determining the best metrics to identify success amongst our partnerships, and creating relevant reporting dashboards
  • Assisting with other non-sponsorship SeatGeek brand marketing initiatives to help grow the SG brand, and your own marketing toolkit

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years in a client-facing role, i.e. consulting, analytics, project management
  • An extreme attention to detail
  • Comfort and experience with analyzing and understanding data sets, as well as experience with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong ability to self-prioritize / triage to-do lists based on business impact

PERKS

  • Competitive salary in a well-funded early stage company
  • $120/mo to spend on live events tickets
  • A superb benefits package that supports health/dental/vision
  • Spotify and Citibike membership
  • All the snacks, soda, wine, & beer one could possibly want
  • Three weeks of paid vacation per year

An Insider's view of SeatGeek

What are some social events your company does?

The importance of gathering is baked into our DNA at SeatGeek! We always take time to celebrate milestones together, whether in person or virtually, and, while we throw an amazing End of Year party, my favorite events are a little more personal! We empower employees to create their own social events from fitness classes to crafting or or tv nights!

Workplace & People Programs Manager

What projects are you most excited about?

An ongoing project I am excited about is the redesign of one of the core flows in our app. It is a high impact, cross functional initiative and I love how we’ve been able to implement a new technical foundation, introduce new features, and improve the user experience. I’m looking forward to the initial release and gathering insights from consumers!

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We encourage teams to solve problems and create delightful customer experiences, not implement pre-defined solutions. Our teams leverage research/data to understand our customers needs and behaviors, but we also believe that giving teams the space to be creative during a discovery phase opens the possibilities of what they can come up with.
