Away is looking for an undergraduate intern to join the exciting Retail and International team. As an intern, you will help with the opening of new retail stores and assist with international expansion projects as needed. The ideal candidate is someone with retail experience, a passion for customer service, and a keen business acumen. This role will give you exposure to nearly all parts of the company and is a chance to contribute to a new department at a high-growth startup.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the new store opening calendar
• Help with merchant outreach and vendor relations
• Secure equipment and inventory needed for a successful store opening
• Help book off-site training locations, travel, and accommodations for corporate team
• Help ensure all retail marketing events go off without a hitch!
• Order and ensure timely delivery of wholesale merchandise
• Assist on international expansion and other projects as needed

• Must believe that there is no task too small and no task too big
• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Operationally-inclined, business savvy, and sharp as a tack
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
• Excited by new challenges and has a can-do, positive attitude!
• An undergraduate student or recent grad.
