Reporting to our Chief Client Officer, the SVP, Global Marketing, will be responsible for owning strategy and execution of all things marketing for an innovative, best-in-class, product-driven organization. This strategy should be based on an intimate knowledge of our company history and long-term vision, our product, and how we should position ourselves in the market.

KEY DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Energize, inspire, and create a sense of direction and purpose for a small but powerful global marketing team
  • Become intimately acquainted with our product, and work closely with our product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with the product roadmap; make strategic and thoughtful calls on timing and overall messaging of campaigns
  • Work and communicate effectively with the core leadership team to ensure company goals are aligned
  • Create a multi-channel marketing solutions to take product to market
  • Serve as the brand ambassador; creating smart, engaging, and creative content/messaging, with the goal of increasing overall brand visibility and driving revenue
  • Lead the discovery of data-driven insights and increase our digital presence through metrics-driven approaches
  • Play a large role in shaping our public profile and thought leadership positioning in collaboration with the leadership team, and manage media relationships
  • Build relationships across the entire organization, from coordinators to managers; partner with teams focused on related initiatives including sales enablement, employer branding, and UX/UI design
  • Quickly adapt in a fast changing, complex industry
  • Establish the marketing budget and track ROI
  • Embrace The Trade Desk values in all aspects of work and build trust with team
  • Contribute to and promote our company culture and vision
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience working within SaaS, software, cloud-based tech, or other innovative product-driven B2B companies
  • Experience inspiring, managing, and growing global marketing teams, with appreciation and sensitivity to cultural and time zone differences
  • Previous success within multi-hundred million dollar to billion dollar organizations, preferably early stage public companies
  • Proven ability to take technologies (ad-tech understanding, necessary), message and position them in a smart, simple, and engaging way for disparate audiences; roles required intimate knowledge of a complex landscape and quickly evolving product priorities
  • Developed and managed (strategically and hands-on) the go-to-market strategy & demand generation for a growth-stage organization
  • Proactively developed innovative strategies to differentiate company in a competitive environment, with measurable results that clearly show wins
  • Strategic, data-driven executive who will be a strong collaborator at the executive level, while also being comfortable doing the day to day work required to scale the organization
  • Credible speaker with ability to connect with a wide range of audiences and media outlets
  • Cross-functional communication and ability to collaborate comes naturally for solving problems and addressing roadblocks
  • Willingness to travel: 10%
