As a Technical Manager at Intersection, you will be responsible for the operational support of our Link and Transit products. You will work closely with all product work streams to enhance the stability and uptime of our services to deliver on our mission. You will jump between technical and vendor management discussions and you will work closely with other team members to grow and streamline our collective capability. This role requires excellent team management and leadership skills and an ability to think and speak clearly. You should be a strong collaborator, creative problem solver, and someone who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge.

 What you will accomplish:

• Improve team productivity through best practices, collaboration, and technical direction
• Lead, manage, and direct the service desk team on a day to day basis
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the service desk team
• Improve operational insight through data-driven analysis
• Drive scalability through process optimization and adoption
• Improve operational efficiency through automation
• Help drive from ambiguity towards something tangible through an iterative process
• Work across multiple teams to achieve business objectives and maximize value

 What we are looking for:

• Significant troubleshooting experience; understanding of networking, hardware, Linux, and Android OS
• Strong data analysis skills; ability to identify trends and drive business decisions through data
• Track record of supporting successful tech-based products at scale
• Experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality support
• Proven experience working with customers and stakeholders at the highest levels
• Strong capabilities of observation, analysis, synthesis
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to balance what’s ideal with what’s practical and understand how to make incremental steps to improve
• ZenDesk administration experience is a big plus
