About the Role

As the Technical Project Manager you will be the engine behind Eyeview’s development team. Using your Scrum knowledge as well as traditional project management techniques you will scope, plan, and resource projects, driving the team to successful delivery. Being the single point of contact for others outside of Engineering, you will be responsible for setting delivery expectations, making them visible to Stakeholders and resetting them where necessary. You will remove blockers and encourage sensible prioritization of tasks and goals within the teams, and ensure projects are run efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day Project Management activities of our Software Engineering department in an Agile Scrum environment
• Apply concepts and best practices of Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycle
• Ensure cross-team dependencies are understood and taken into account during planning
• Work closely with Managers, Engineers & Product Management to plan & track projects & scope, identify and manage issues and risks, resolve conflicts, and provide status

Requirements

• Self starter and independent individual looking to work in a fast paced startup environment
• Demonstrated strong and positive interpersonal talents; able to interact with and influence people from all disciplines; able to balance persuasiveness and assertiveness to build team morale while meeting deliverables
• Well versed in planning, resource management, deliverable development, timeliness, issues and risks
• Experience developing and executing project plans utilizing Project Management tools and methodologies
• Effective written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
• Must to able to communicate clearly and at different levels of technical detail and business understanding with Engineers, Product Managers, Management and Stakeholders
• Strong analytical abilities
• Ability to prioritize own work and see the big-picture

Experience

• 3+ years of Software Project Management experience in an Agile Scrum environment
• Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a must
• Experience working with Jira - a must
• Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
• PMP certification - a strong plus
• Experience as a Scrum Master\Scrum Master Certification - a strong plus
