JOOR (jooraccess.com) is a VC-backed startup revolutionizing wholesale buying. Founded in late 2010, JOOR is the largest company of its kind and is growing fast, working with 1,000 brands and 100,000 retailers worldwide. JOOR will process $6BN in transaction volume in 2015 - but we are a lean organization with 45 employees in Midtown Manhattan. What are we looking for?

The QA team handles all of the software testing at JOOR, and is growing rapidly. QA plays a major role in shaping the software, and you’ll have an important voice in product, design, and development discussions. We are looking for a QA Engineer with a passion for testing, and automation. The QA Engineer in this role will help improve the automated testing framework and increase test coverage to ensure the reliability and performance of our platform. This means writing new scripts using Python and Behave to complete our automated regression test plan, and writing scripts as new features are implemented.

Skills:

• Experience writing automated tests in Python
• Experience with cross-browser web and/or iOS mobile app functional testing.
• Experience with GIT or other similar version control software
• Experience designing, managing, and documenting functional, and cross-browser test plans.
• Experience with Databases (Postgres, SQL)
• Experience testing APIs
• Experience in an extremely fast paced environment
• Experience with Unix command line
• Experience with HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript, and PHP a plus.
