The Director of Sales Operations manages support functions essential to Trade Sales and Service teams productivity. She/He is responsible for generating sales forecasting, productivity, CRM maintenance and other sales support functions. The role is also responsible for defining and improving processes for sales and service teams & identifying new tools and technologies that will unlock value for the teams.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with sales leadership to lead sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. Coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders in other departments
  • Partner with sales leadership to lead decisions around territory sizing, structuring, and alignment of goals
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations
  • Partner with sales leadership to lead administration of quarterly sales incentive compensation plans and the goal setting process
  • Hire, onboard, train, and evaluate employees within the sales ops organization
  • Manage sales force automation and CRM systems and processes as relating to Trade 
  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify and support growth strategies from an operational and process point of view
  • Operate as a strategic adviser to GM on strategic action plans, programs, and projects to improve operational efficiency, processes, systems, long-term planning, and team performance
  • Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality, identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement; assist with understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and facilitate continuous process improvement
  • Provide effective and consistent communication between management, resources, and other business partners
  • Understands the Trade Sales & service process and how Salesforce should work to support it
  • Lead sales operations team growth, from recruitment to talent development 
  • Proactively identify the process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and facilitate with management, an organizational improvement based on strategic solutions
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficiency of Salesforce and other technologies to make optimizations when necessary

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in a leadership role within a Sales, Customer Service, or Operations team; preferably within an e-commerce environment
  • Salesforce expert
  • Extremely strong collaborator
  • Experience working with Salesforce and financial technologies and understands how to build efficient workflow processes based off of reporting data
  • Experience working with analytics and generating business insights
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically for long-term solutions
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and ability to propose solutions to problems
  • Ability to think strategically to provide, implement and optimize processes and workflows
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that demonstrates ability to listen, comprehend, and respond accordingly, especially when managing any problems. Presents numerical data effectively and able to read and interpret written information contextually
  • Ability to make fact-based decisions and follows through to completion, analyses and uses data to achieve sales goals, drive execution, initiates action and follow-ups to successful completion, effectively demonstrates how solutions will solve problems
