Ventures Associate
IEX is looking for an exceptional Associate to contribute to the Ventures team. Ventures helps identify and define discrete business challenges where IEX could deliver an innovative solution. What you’ll do:
- Research and analyze ideas and concepts across a range of industries. Creatively source information from free and paid sources as well as in-person interviews.
- Synthesize ideas, initiatives, and projects verbally, in writing, and PowerPoint decks.
- Create and modify financial and decision support models in excel and other relevant tools.
- Build out timelines, deliverables, and then direct work (yours and others) to accomplish deliverables and ultimate objectives.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA preferred. Would consider other relevant Master’s degrees, such as Master in Finance.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Ideal candidate has successfully rotated through a 2-year analyst program at a top tier investment bank, consulting firm, or other company with a highly structured entry level program (eg., GE’s Financial Management Program or Corp Audit Staff).
- Fluency with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Familiarity with financial markets and trading is helpful but not required
