Interested in being a part of digital change? Intersection is seeking a Vertical Sales Strategist to join a newly formed Vertical Solutions Team, which is paving the groundwork for new emerging digital platforms & experiences in combination with physical advertising solutions. The Vertical Sales Strategist will have the goal of increasing awareness and demand for Intersection’s partner solutions and tell & sell our story for the Entertainment & Tech / Telco categories of Advertisers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy Go-to-Market strategies with Entertainment & Tech / Telco accounts in tandem with National and Local Sales Team(s) and manage its growth
  • Work closely with a team of cross-functional departments to create sustainable advertising solutions ensuring we are meeting client & market needs effectively
  • Build advertising packages, construct sponsorships opportunities / experiences and influence ad formats innovation through a category scope
  • Grow Digital & Physical book of business with existing category Advertisers to show YoY growth & proactively prospect and qualify potential new Advertiser direct accounts
  • Accountable for achieving a category sales revenue goal by increasing CPM’s (where applicable), influence Digital & Physical advertising by creating unique solutions for big, branded advertisers that leverage all of Intersection’s creative assets & systems
  • Evangelize final category marketing plans & persuasive presentations to and with National Sales Clients / Holding Companies
  • Develop strategic positioning for partner solutions and services based on market assessment, analysis and understanding of client and company priorities
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics, industry research and recommend optimized media solutions through a category scope to build renewals and prospect new clients in partnership with Vertical Solutions Architect

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with concentration in Marketing and Advertising preferred
  • 6-8+ years of both Out-of-home & digital sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting & exceeding revenue targets and producing innovative solutions for brand advertisers
  • Demonstrate excellent follow up skills for all areas of sales cycle
  • Make compelling and motivating presentations to a target audience using visual aids and other media
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion and partnering skills
  • Strong customer focus – promoting customer satisfaction, resolution and loyalty
  • Able to work effectively and excel in a matrix organization; Ability to adapt to a changing environment quickly and easily
  • Competitive, with a desire to win
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to influence
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
