Vice President, Partner Success

The Yext Partner and Strategic Partner Divisions enable organizations - from digital agencies, SEOs, and webmasters to domain hosting corporations and automated marketing solution providers - to offer Yext’s suite of location solutions to small businesses. We help them put their customers on the Map!
The Vice President, Partner Success, reports into the EVP, Small, Middle Market & Partner and will drive and own the growth of our partner channel. By understanding our customers’ key business challenges and opportunities, this executive will drive growth in revenue per partner. This executive and their teams will drive revenue by increasing the number of end-customers each partner sells to and by increasing the value of each customer by driving additional products into the partner's’ product suite. As a result of this executive's’ leadership, revenue and retention of partners will increase.

Core Responsibilities
- Increase total partner revenue for the Yext Partner business which is comprised of 3k+ partners
- Grow footprint of each partner in the number of businesses they sell to and the penetration of this base with the sale of additional products and services
- Own incremental new business quota as part of revenue growth strategy
- Onboard new clients consistently and seamlessly into Yext
- Grow and scale training and certification programs for Yext
- Optimize operational components for renewals, additional subscriptions, and customer adoption metrics
- Own renewal processes and scale renewal revenue
- Resolve account issues quickly, leveraging resources from across the company as needed
- Act as client advocate inside Yext and escalation point for key issues
- Stimulate innovative solutions to business and media issues
- Collaborate with Yext executives on scaling and organizational planning
- Leverage best practices in client management and technical innovation to ensure maximum retention and growth through appropriate cost and touch models
- Lead, inspire, mentor and train team
- Improve collaboration, staff growth plans and management best practices
- Recruit and hire world class talent and manage performance to ensure career growth opportunities
- Demonstrate Yext values and exemplary leadership, promoting an open working environment where opinions, views and ideas can be shared
Desired Experience
The ideal candidate has scaled and led a SaaS-based sales, renewal, account management, and customer success organization with experience managing high volume and high touch customer accounts. He/she should have experience with large-scale partnerships & strategic account management. This person has a passion for building processes and structure to ensure successful interactions between Yext partners and Yext executives. Success in this role includes achieving the following:
- Developing and executing a cross-segment engagement strategy to drive measurable adoption, usage and customer satisfaction
- Driving revenue through the account management organization in partnership with sales by identifying additional locations and upsell opportunities
- Improving retention rates
- Increasing customer usage and adoption
- Driving upsells into current customer base
- Identifying additional features and functionality to drive usage and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a sales role selling into an existing customer portfolio
- 3+ years experience managing a team of sellers and/or account managers
- 5+ years of work experience in digital, online advertising, marketing consulting or the technology sector
- Power-user of Salesforce CRM
- Proven ability to evaluate, develop, and reshape (as necessary) existing teams while mentoring and inspiring
- Demonstrable experience in managing large volume of accounts, achieving 90%+ renewal rates and positive growth rates across a large portfolio
- Success in consistently delivering growth numbers and producing accurate forecasts while maintaining a focus on profitability
- Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment to deliver on detail as well as strategy
- Proven track record working in driving customer adoption and retention
- Passion for technology and innovation
- Strong understanding of SaaS and its value proposition
- Proven experience building and running a business
- Passion and desire to grow the business
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the executive level
