Founded in 2010 and owned by publicly traded Bankrate (NYSE: RATE), TPG is growing by leaps and bounds and is seeking new team members to join its existing staff of accomplished writers, editors, videographers, experiential marketers, social experts, analysts, and strategists.

We're looking for an incredible, self-motivated Video Producer/Editor to join our quickly growing team and help spearhead our creative video endeavors. The ideal candidate would be a proficient and efficient combo shooter & editor experienced in creating snackable, shareable videos optimized for social amplification, primarily, but also adept in creating longer-form content as needed.

This person would sit under the VP of Social Media and Video, and work closely with social and editorial teams to support and create ongoing franchises, as well as one-off, stand-alone videos, bringing a distinct voice and vision, while aligning with the broader editorial voice of TPG. The candidate is an accomplished storyteller with a strong understanding of what works best in the digital space, both from a creative and strategic standpoint.

You should feel comfortable owning a project from start to finish, including concepting, writing, producing, shooting, and editing. Light motion graphics skills is required.

About You:

  • 3+ years experience shooting, producing and editing video for digital platforms
  • Strong storytelling capabilities with elevated taste and creativity
  • Experience building social brands
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Proven understanding of the digital space and always knowledgeable about current trends, including how to create content best suited for social as opposed to traditional broadcast
  • Excited to innovate, experiment, and learn-work with our strategy and analytics team members to design and run tests that help identify what makes videos more shareable and engaging
  • Motivated self-starter who can execute shoots as well as adapt ideas into successful production plans
  • Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage several projects at once with various deadline speeds
  • Understanding of legal restrictions for video usage
  • Passion for travel and the TPG brand
