We are looking for driven, experienced data engineer to build and shape the data team at Glossier. Your first responsibility will be to build a sophisticated data warehouse, with data pipelines pulling data from our growing list of sources. You'll work closely with the key members of the technology and data teams to get it all done, and you'll do it all with a smile on your face. You're right for this job because you're as good at building warehouses and pipelines as you are building a team.

• Establish and proselytize a central role for data across the company's operations and management, that will help deliver value for the organization
• Lead the strategic direction of the data team, overseeing planning, the building of data products, and driving multiple data projects that facilitate achievement of company goals
• Work with the SVP of Engineering to build and manage a relevant data team, including data scientists, analysts and engineers
• Manage internal reporting by establishing and overseeing centralized reporting structures that facilitate easy, focused and large-scale access to business-driving data across the company
• Facilitate the increased use of data-driven decision making and constantly be on the look-out for areas of analysis or focus

• BA (MA preferred) in Computer Science, data science, or related technical field
• Experience leading Data at a customer-facing company, e-commerce preferred
• Proven track record managing a high-performance team
