At x.ai, we are building an artificial intelligence powered personal assistant. The software will schedule meetings for our customers automatically without subjecting them to the typical back and forth over email negotiating when and where to meet someone. We are looking for a smart, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join us on the journey in building the artificial intelligence of the future. You’ll get to work side by side with a small team of serial entrepreneurs moving at breakneck speeds.
Who you are
You have experience selling software. Also, you have taken an inbound-sales driven, SaaS startup from the ground floor to scale ($1M to $10M+ ARR.) Deal size between $10k and $100k ARR with a relatively quick sales cycle are your sweet spots. After having that experience under your belt, you want to do it faster, better and bigger this time around. You are excited by what we do and are ready to build upon the enthusiasm of our customer base. You are a closer and will roll up your sleeves for major deals. More importantly, you excel at building a repeatable sales machine from scratch. You will put together systems and processes as you crystallize the playbook with the founders. Recruiting and training are part of your core strengths. You know exactly which two or three sales reps you will bring onboard when you are ready.
- Scale sales team from a handful of sales professionals to 50+
- Build and iterate sales processes to support scale
- Implement and enhance a robust recruiting and training funnel for the sales team
- Design sales team compensation plan
- Initially, carry a quota
- Work closely with the Customer Experience and Technology teams to achieve company goals
