FanDuel is the pioneer of online daily fantasy sports, one of the fastest growing sectors of the sports and entertainment industry. Since our launch in 2009, we’ve been disrupting the fantasy sports industry and changing the way millions of people experience sports.

We are looking for an analytically-driven, organized, and curious team player to join a Product Team focused on making sports more exciting for everyone. This is a small team trying to accomplish big things. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changes within the business and the industry.

What you'll do:

You’ll be an integral part of the Product Analytics Team responsible for placing an analytical framework around the products we create, our users, and the business.

Our team is passionate about creating products that make the sports experience more exciting for our users. Understanding our users starts with exploring how they interact with our products. We’re searching for someone that is highly organized, has an eye for detail, and has experience with tagging, event collection, and documentation. You’ll determine, manage, and document the data we collect and create a structure around this process.

In addition to project managing the day-to-day of tracking and data collection, you’ll be driving analysis that compels the Product Team to build informed products and identify opportunities for the products and business. Collaborating with a variety of teams within the company, and by building influence through the lens of data, you have the opportunity to change how sports are experienced by millions of people.

What we value:

  • An analytical and curious mindset
  • Strong organizational and practical skills
  • The ability to work across teams and build consensus
  • A strong work ethic
  • The desire to learn and teach others

What we're looking for:

  • 2–6 years of relevant experience at a startup, large tech company, or e-commerce firm
  • Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields
  • Experience working with product management and/or engineering teams in implementing web/app tracking in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Omniture, Amplitude, Mixpanel
  • Past projects in designing data taxonomies or other organizational structures, including event tagging and tracking parameter implications
  • Comfortable with modeling and analysis in Excel
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation, and capacity to drive conclusions from analysis
  • Desire to take ownership of projects from start-to-finish with minimal guidance

Bonus Points:

  • Experience using SQL
  • Understanding of analytical techniques applied to funnel analysis, user segmentation, and cohort analysis
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and corresponding analysis
  • Interest in season long and/or daily fantasy sports

Why work at FanDuel?:

  • Create a fun product with a fanatical user base
  • We invest in our team and adapt to fulfill personal development goals, learning new skills and educating others
  • Enjoy a fun office environment (social sports, team dinners, etc.) in a great location with opportunities to travel to our UK office in Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Revolutionize a big industry in a fast-growing, well-funded, dynamic company
  • Unlimited holiday allowance
  • 401K plan
  • 100% coverage of health insurance premiums
  • Stock Options

There's more, but we don't want to go on and on.

FanDuel is an equal opportunities employer. Diversity and inclusion in FanDuel means that we respect and value everyone as individuals. We don't tolerate bias, judgment or harassment. Our focus is on developing employees so that they reach their full potential.
