At x.ai, we're building an artificial intelligence powered personal assistant. The software schedules meetings for our customers automatically, without subjecting them to the typical back and forth over email negotiating when and where to meet someone. Key Responsibilities
- True ownership of many internal and external customer-facing projects
- Collaborating with the marketing team to prioritize projects
- Implement features across marketing pages, our web app, and emails, and develop and improve our tools for experimentation
- Improving our marketing data pipeline and reporting to enable us to make better decisions
- Implementing and maintaining our marketing automation system
- Integrating with various external APIs
About You
You have a strong technical and business acumen with programming being the core of your work. It's important to have an ownership mentality and thrive with autonomy; the responsibility of figuring out what to do and how to do it excites you. You're able to prioritize work, push back when necessary, and enjoy the marketing and growth hacking space.
You're a front end wizard and get excited about building interfaces that enthuse and delight your users, and you might spend too long obsessing over the duration and shape of an animation. You may not be a prolific back end engineer, but you're familiar with how the pipes are connected and you can cleanly integrate any number of services, as well as understand enough to make informed decisions about which technologies to use. You've had your hands in a broad range of technologies across the web platform. Additionally, we're looking for the following experience:
- Advanced knowledge or familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS
- Build maintainable, well-tested, and scalable front end code
- Skilled at and very comfortable with JS/HTML/CSS
- Have some experience with Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB (or similar technologies)
- You've slung some SQL and secretly liked it
- Familiar with A/B testing and cohort analysis
