Yield/Pricing Manager

As Intersection leads innovation for advertisers, we are searching for an accomplished Yield/Pricing Manager with exceptional analytical skills to oversee yield optimization and pricing for Intersection's Media Assets and Properties. This role will be responsible for pricing, packaging, and managing yield across all premium sponsorships and ad products with the ultimate goal of significantly growing revenue in this space. The Yield Manager will be proactive in identifying and taking action to address potential opportunities and foreseeing issues with processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Data Infrastructure for Rate Card Tracking and Analysis: Strategic oversight of a data repository to manage a rate card for a diverse ad product suite that includes display, audio, video, and rich media ads across web and mobile devices.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management and forecasting, pricing, and yield optimization to maximize revenue for Intersection
- Analytics: Manage sales analytics and reporting to enable the business to operate transparently and efficiently.
- Finance: May work closely with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and timely invoicing.
- Reporting: Create and maintain recurring baseline reports on inventory, pricing and profitability that will evolve into dashboards
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working in digital media required – Publisher, Ad Tech, or Agency experience in Planning, Yield and or Sales Operations function
- Extremely detail-oriented, analytical, creative, organized, and highly motivated to go above and beyond
- Ability to think strategically with data management skills and must possess the ability to pull insights and provide creative solutions.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in Publisher side ad technology and analytics tools
- Financial Modeling, SQL skills
- Excellent excel skills as well
- BS or BA required, MBA preferred
- People Manager skills a plus
