Good news, techies. Applications for this summer’s

are officially open, and you have until March 20 to apply.

A renowned accelerator, Techstars New York is a rigorous, metrics driven program that offers access to NYC founders and CEOs, top angel investors, venture capitalists and mentors with technical backgrounds. Notable advisors in the Techstars New York network include Chris Dixon, Ben Lerer, Fred Wilson, Joanne Wilson and Dennis Crowley.

The program hopes to welcome founders who are tackling difficult programs in growing markets, such as VR/AR, AI/Machine learning, blockchain, mobile enterprise, mobile search, mobile commerce, healthcare, genomics and energy.

The Techstars summer session will commence in July and end with a Demo Day in October.

One of  the most valuable aspects of being a Techstars company is the built in network—companies lucky enough to participate in a Techstars cohort join a worldwide network of thousands of successful entrepreneurs. Some of most successful alumni to emerge out of Techstars include New York-based ClassPass, Plated, Timehop and Jukely.

The program will be held in Techstars New York’s brand new 13,000 square foot space that overlooks Times Square and the Empire State Building.
